Appliance Discount Center
(formerly "Perkins' Appliance") was started by Mike and Gayle Perkins
in 1961, shortly after Mike left Lakewood's Furniture on Main Street
in Bountiful, where he learned to repair appliances. For many years,
the business was operated from the Perkins' home in Centerville and
was doing only appliance repair. In 1974, ADC expanded to become the
first Maytag dealer in Davis County, while still emphasizing the
importance of service. In 1978, ADC moved to our present location in
Bountiful, Utah. As the business grew, we opened our second location
in Sunset, Utah in 1989.
Appliance Discount Center has now grown to be a major supplier in the retail and contractor appliance industry. We are thankful for the many loyal customers, many of which have become good friends over the years, who have helped us to build our business to what it is today. |
